Eaglesoft - Windows DPI Settings

Applies to: Windows XP and newer

The DPI setting on your computer may bear upon what you lot can/cannot see in certain screens. Data may announced missing if the DPI is set up too large.

Alter the DPI font settings for Windows Vista:

  • Right-click on any blank part of the Windows desktop.
  • Select Personalize.
  • Select Adjust Font Size (DPI).
  • Ready the default scale to 96 dpi.

Alter the DPI font settings for Windows XP

  • Get to Start | Control Console. Double-click Display icon (can also right-click on desktop and select Properties).
  • Select Settings.
  • Select Advanced.
  • Under the Full general tab, detect the DPI setting.  It can exist inverse by using the drop-downwardly.

Change the DPI font settings for Windows eight/8.1

  • Open up the charms by pointing to the upper-right or lower-right corner with the mouse to see the charms (Windows Logo keyboard button + C). Select Command Panel | Display. Cull a size you lot want for DPI size (recommend Smaller - 100%).

  • Enter  into Desktop Mode.
  • Go to Start | Command Console | Brandish. Choose a size y'all want for DPI size (recommended Smaller - 100%).

Change the DPI font settings for Windows x

Change DPI in Settings App:

  • Open Settings | Organisation icon | Brandish. Select DPI percentage under Change the size of text, apps, and other items. Sign out at present to fully apply.

Change DPI in Control Console (Note: these settings have been removed from Control Panel every bit of Windows 10 version 1703):

  • Open Control Panel | Display | Change size of items
  • Set a custom scaling level link
